Worse than no filter
The filter that came with the fountain worked well a long time. The replacement cartridge turned the water yellow for days (replacing the water each day hoping it would stop). Then the inside of the cartridge started breaking apart and black pieces of “charcoal” are all in the water. Horrid.

Great!!
When my original died, i bought an aluminum one. It was horrible and had permanently changed color after a few uses. I searched till i found a new stainless steel that wasn’t electric. I just wanted the simple pot. I love it. I should never have bought the aluminum just because it was a few bucks cheaper. They are NOT all the same!!

FIXED!!
This is the best flexible waterproof seal I've found to fix air mattresses, boots, and my WADERS (which have to be waterproof for ATV riding in cold weather)
