GREAT ADDITION to ANY ARMCHAIR DETECTIVE home
1 of 1 found this helpful Buddy Ebsen does well with this character thru the series. Showing the ability to carry a series in a entire different light of what many know him by. Images are clear in this DVD collection, the addition of the case enclosure is nice to keep all your collection together and safe. Must buy for the armchair detective.

Great Entry Level HD DVD Player
This is the low end of the series with pretty much the basic needs to provide HD Quality video. It provides 720p or 1080i output and in my humble opinion is more than enough for one to enjoy the up-conversion for standard DVDs, wonderful sound clarity via a HDMI output (Optical also). Also , it has Ethernet connection for updates and DVD internet connectivity (i.e. extras), SVHS output, Component output. Downside I saw was a neglect to backlight the remote and no 5.1 sound. Load times are better than Toshiba’s first generation HD DVD players models. If your a collector of older films, the vast amount of titles one can collect to use (DVD/HDDVD) as well as family home converted 8mm, 16mm film, this is a GREAT choice.
