Easy peas cooling fan squeezy
I must have gotten use to load racket that the cooling fan was making within my HP laptop - I am quite pleased with this new and very quiet cooling,
Fairly easy to remove the back cover following the HP service manual, but I would suggest buying an inexpensive set of watchmaker's tools and to slightly open up your laptop on a clean table surface
Disconnect from any power source, remove the battery, remove and keep track off the indicated screws and optical disk drive and then place the slightly opened keyboard on the table along the bottom edge of the keyboard section and top edge of the display section (think on a A-frame house here) to take the weight off of the bottom of the laptop before starting to gently pry off the bottom back cover..
I had just two screws to remove in order to take out the fan - just be sure to look at wiring colors (or even write them down) before gently disconnecting the plug of your old cooling fan,.
