Natalie Portman is outstanding in this tragic tale of Jackie Kennedy
I was vaguely aware of this film when it was in the theaters but it never sparked much interest until recently when I noticed the Lana Del Rey video "Swan Song".
Although this was a fan production it used clips from "Jackie" to promote the Del Rey music. Outstanding!
The clips brought me to the music AND the film and although it isn't a film I could recommend to everyone, the film had enough going for it to make it a solid buy. Natalie Portman must have lost herself in the role. Her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy is Amazing!

Stunning Catherine!
Typical 60s movie that is now somewhat dated. I remember seeing portions of this movie in the late sixties and was VERY impressed with Catherine Denerve (the only reason I bought the DVD). She was as stunning in the movie as I remember and she steals every scene she is in as the reserved aristocrat married to Lemmon's future boss. The question becomes "What does a woman like that see in goofy Jack Lemmon??

Best Western Ever Made!
Absolutely, without a doubt, the BEST western ever made!
Be weary of the earlier 2000 Artisan/ Hallmark full screen boxed set- Its TRASH! (The master looks like it was taken off of a VHS copy!)
This RHI copy is the one to have. It’s remastered and widescreen and it’s great!
And again, the best western ever made. With Tommy Lee Jones and Robert Duvall you cant go wrong!
