Rampage Harrison Women US 10 Black Ankle Boot Defect 18506
Dec 30, 2016
"A Cool-Looking Boot"
"Bought these for my Girlfriend, who likes "Moto/Rock & Roll- looking clothes". Although she was pleased with the looks and the fit of these boots, the heel turned out to be a 'bit too high' for "Everyday or All-Day" wear for her. Since the only defect was quickly and easily remedied (a 'curling' insole, at one heel of one boot. And the reason they were marked down hugely in price, btw!), I'm not 'out' much cash on them. As I said, she liked the looks, but can't wear them for 'very long' periods of time. She said they were 'soft enough' underfoot, yet had good support (i.e: the heels didn't 'twist' on her or 'double over/ crumple' on her). And the lug-soles had decent traction in the snow on the day she wore them when we went to the movies. She said she 'would' recommend them, and wear them again. I gather that 'most' women would find them more comfy for long periods than she did, as she doesn't handle wearing a heel any taller than 2.25 to 2.5 inches tall for very long, hurts "the balls of her feet", she said. They are "Pleather", so fire, "cigarette cherries", or any direct contact with flame will melt the uppers. The carbon rubber soles will handle hot grates, extinguishing a cigarette butt, etc., however (saw Kathy put a few out on that day with the boots, and checked to see if it melted the soles later on when she'd removed them. Not a burn-mark one that I could see), so I'd say they have a "rubbery, bouncy sole that's comfy yet long-wearing for the money you're gonna pay for them. In all, I'd say they're a good boot and a good deal. The decorative 'Big zippers' on the outsides (non-functional, btw) were what caught my eye, and I still think they look cute and cool on her feet, paired with jeans, sassy blouse, and her black jacket! You're probably gonna love 'em if you buy 'em, that'd be my guess! - Glen M.

Comfy Underfoot
1 of 1 found this helpful Used to buy these at Wal Mart some years back. Just about every pair of shoes I put them in suddenly became like walking on "Memory Mats". They're good for about a month of "Work Use", 2 to 3 months in "Casual" closed footwear, including high heel boots. If used in 'Working' Shoes/Boots, make sure to spray them with some deodorizer, though, as they do NOT 'wick away' sweat/moisture from the soles of your feet. This is especially true when wearing trouser socks, knee-high 'everyday' nylons, and pantyhose. But for the 'squishiness underfoot' that they provide, it's "worth it" to have to 'treat' a pair of shoes/boots that these insoles are used in! 5 stars!
