  I own both the Blackstar and the Mustang headphone amps. I like the Blackstars harder tones and the Mustangs cleaner ones. One aspect of the BS I discovered I enjoyed was it's simplicity. I do get somewhat lost in the Mustang tones and controls. I only use personal amps infrequently, so there's an attractiveness to the simpler aspects of the Blackstar. I have about $50 in the Mustang and $30 in the Blackstar. The Mustang is worth the difference for the versatility of the settings.
