8.2x6.2Ft Greenhouse Aluminum Frame All Weather Walk-In Heavy Duty Polycarbonate
    Dec 30, 2017
Not a Simple Build But Worth the Effort!
So you think you had trouble putting together your kid's bike? This kit is the challenge to beat all assembly challenges! :-) When all is said and done, it is well worth the effort. Have the following on hand: 1) a flat patio to assemble, 2) carpet laying knee pads (and your knees will still be sore when done,) 3) basic tools including a 10mm ratchet/socket and open end wrench, 4) box cutting knife, 5) 48" straight edge, 6) a pair of pliers, and 7) a Dremel, there is one slight modification you will probably want to make. The kit will come in two boxes, a long one with the aluminum parts and a flatter one with the panels. It is fairly well packaged, but even so some of the larger open pieces may get a little bent. This is not the fault of the manufacturer, it is because the box with the aluminum parts is so heavy. Be prepared to do a little straightening on a couple of the pieces. The parts are all in bags and numbered. Lay them out as shown and take inventory that nothing is missing. We received a couple extras. The instructions are minimal, I must have put parts on backwards five or six times. Once I figured it out this is an AWESOME starter greenhouse. The parts are (almost) all perfectly cut to fit, nothing missing, but allow yourself three days to do a good job and leave plenty of time to do some of it over, it's very easy to misinterpret the instructions. While assembling, don't tighten anything down EXCEPT the three long pieces for the roof until it's all together. Also it is advised to get some silver paint for the nuts, bolts, and reinforcing plates. Although the frame is aluminum, the reinforcing plates are made of iron and are sure to rust. I painted them all before starting. The retaining clips appear to be chrome plated, but I dipped those in paint too. When it's all together and tightened up, I went around and painted up each bolt and nut to deter rust (see pictures.) In my opinion there should be more retaining clips, but they are sufficient. Put three on each side of the large roof panels and two on each side of the side panels. These clips are a bit of a puzzle. You will find a flat part in the middle, this goes down along the side of the panel with the ends facing outward into the slots in the rails. The door will take a little work. When properly adjusted so both the top and bottom rollers ride smoothly, I found that the top inside edge of the vertical parts hit the door frame. I used a Dremel with a cutoff wheel to shave just a tiny bit off the inner edge of the vertical pieces and now it's smooth as silk. Another mod you may wish to make: the window vent supports just hang down when closed. A very small hook added to the inner frame of the vent keeps them neatly out of the way (see picture with shelves.) The only real problem was the last two panels I installed: the door panels were not cut square. All the others were a perfect fit all around, but the two large door panels were 23 1/8" on one side and 23 5/8" on the other. I used a straight edge and box knife to trim off the excess and they fit perfectly. The panels are **not** solid poly, they are hollow ribbed poly. The advantage is the hollow ribbing retains heat. I knew this going in, and it's possible they may show sagging or yellowing over time. I may replace the roof pieces with Plexiglas, but they will do very well for now. Shown in the pictures is the Flowerhouse 6' X 6' shelving unit (not included with this kit,) it fits perfectly and is an awesome unit, up in five minutes. Overall this is an excellent value and if you are determined can have a great greenhouse set up in a few days. Happy gardening! :-)

    34mm Cylinder Piston Kit For STIHL FS55 FS45 BR45 KM55 HL45 HS45 HS55 Trimmer
    Nov 19, 2018
Poor craftsmanship. Missing part. Go OEM. Period.
This item is currently in the trash. It requires two piston pin retaining clips and came with only one, but fortunately (so I thought) I had the pin out of the old OEM which only requires one pin. The piston, pin, and bores seem good enough, it is a type 1 piston with the ring retaining pins on the top, the OEM has the retaining pins on the bottom. The real problem is in the sloppy and horrible thread tap of the hardware mounting holes. I managed to get the piston and cylinder assembled on the block, and that should have been my clue - the bolt holes were so tight I had to pre-tap them. One of the intake manifold bolts stripped going in. I stopped before it stripped badly and was going to give it a go, but the the ignition coil mount holes were so badly tapped one of the the bolts snapped right off. This is a hardened steel screw and went through 6 bits trying to drill it out enough to get an extracting tool in it before I gave up and tossed it in the trash. So now I am waiting on a new set of bolts and an OEM cylinder. Weekend project rendered a waste of money and time. You might get this to work, but tap all your holes ahead of time. Or save yourself the time and go OEM.
    Woodford Freezeless Wall Faucet Repair Kit Fits Models 20, 25 & 27 - RK-25
    Jul 31, 2019
    Model 25 Well Worth Repair
The Woodford Model 25 freezeless faucet is probably one of the best external faucets ever made and well worth repairing. Takes about 7 minutes per faucet to replace. If you don't know how they work, the pressure valve builds pressure when you turn it on, so when you turn it off it blows the water out of the faucet and lead-n pipe. Only thing about the repair kits is the handle is plastic and the original is metal, which has pros and cons. The pro is that if something strikes the faucet the handle will break instead of anything more expensive, and they are cheaper to replace if needed. No rust or corrosion. The con of course is that well, it's plastic. If that bothers you put the original back on.
