Near OEM.
WOW, these are just like my OEM when truck was new. It is a 2000 F-350 and the old (original) ones were pretty worn out and almost caused me to get a knot a few times. As soon as I start to raise the hood, these "thrust" the hood up completely and rapidly! Highly recommended!

Excellent DeWalt Product
I purchased this for my DeWalt 2 gallon cordless vacuum. The original adaptor unscrewed with a little force as there was a dab of glue holding it. I then screwed this fitting on the hose and all original accessories that came with my vac fit perfectly and snug. It has a quick twist connect and release for superior fitment. I now can connect my vac to other saw, grinder, and sander dust extraction accessories easily for a cleaner work area and makes for less cleanup after completing any average job. Although the fitment is quite tight, I still would highly recommend this adaptor for most DIY.

Still useful and Excellent Technology
Upgraded my wife's Nuvi 2598LMTHD to this one and she and I love the new features!!! It even warns you if you start to overspeed. Just completely awesome...
