Not worth it..nor its subscitption ro maintenance parts
The refill light comes on and stops operation even when the tank is full. The float is cheap and unresponsive. I have to interrupt my activities to tilt water in the tray toward the tank to get in going. I find this disappointing and annoying.
Also, you are put in a position to have to buy replacement cloth sleeves that wrap around the heating element to the tune of $26 for three on a continuing basis.
The recommendation of using distilled or filtered water is expensive and impractical. This being said, after two uses with tap water the heating element has started to accumulate scaling that soaking in vinegar won’t remove.
