How it is!
One thing I have always liked about Jasmine Guitars is that they come to you pretty much ready to play right out of the box, but that was not the case with this guitar. The strings had a dead sound and the action was much higher than it should have been to be comfortably playable.
Anyone who is not knowledgeable, and willing enough to go in and make the proper adjustments to this guitar would have to spend at least another $75 to $125 for a professional set up which means that if it hadn't come to me it would be sitting in somebody's closet not being played.
I come from a family of musicians and have been working on stringed instruments practically all my life so it was a piece of cake for me to set up and make playable, and it is a nice little guitar but I challenge the statement that claims it to be 7/8 size. It's more like 3/4 size.
I would definitely not recommend this guitar for an amateur, or anyone else for that matter. Why buy a $120 guitar that you're going to have to spend another $100 or so to make it enjoyable?

Good deal!
Great deal. These are large. be ready to do some grinding and filing and polishing. I fit an old Gibson guitar with these and it plays and sounds great but not for the complete amateur. Need some Luthier experience.

Well worth the money!
The strings were not good at all. I replaced them with new D'Adario lights and tuned it and the action is very good and the sound projection is good for a 7/8 size guitar. I would recommend it to any average guitar player, but not for professionals.
