Works well, looks new
I think this PSU was new as the cables were shiny. So no complaints. Works well

More threads, power, and runs cooler
I replaced a Xeon W3565 with this X5660 because I am doing more productive work on this machine and less gaming, though I doubt gaming would give this CPU any trouble. This is a great solution for X58 users considering it was originally over 1000 MSRP.
It's powerful, and runs cool, I hope to buy a higher clocked X series xeon to my collection soon but am happy with the X5660 for now. It allow your RAM to runs a bit faster if you're stuck with a Dell Precision workstation , 1333 beats 1066mhz

Inexpensive upgrade for OEM system
I upgraded from an X2 240, this CPU is much faster. Low TDP, very clean.
