Not wonderful
This looks like a Shubb but it does not properly work like one. The curve on the bottom bar is not quite right so the overcentre locking of a Shubb is not accurately emulated. Further, the curvature of the top bar (the one that pulls the strings onto the frets) is not quite right either, not matching the radius of the frets on any of my 30 guitars and pulling the top and bottom E strings sharp. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Not bad
I got my first one of these at a very good price of £17. It is adequate for voice telephony if a bit quiet in a noisy car at speed. It also links to phone mapping products such as Waze, which is in my view vital but not all earpieces do it. I would not use it for music - not loud enough, not a suitable frequency range of tone. The on-off switch is foolishly placed on the head side of the device making it inconvenient to switch on or off while wearing it.

Usable - if you know how
Assembly of the poles trickier than it should have been and they seem wobbly. Many plastic parts very flimsy, including the throttle trigger. The screwdriver handle broke the first time I put any effort on it. The handgrip/throttle assembly rotates on the shaft if twisted hard and I cannot tighten it any further. The choke mechanism is marked incorrectly - and I spent some time, eventually dismantling the air filter, trying to figure out why it stopped every time I took the choke off - doh. I was applying full choke in stead. The instructions are wrong to state that the mixture cannot be adjusted, there is indeed an air bleed screw and eventually I got the mixture about right, just four-stroking at full throttle under load. Without that facility it would have been close to useless.
But it was unbelievably cheap, and started pretty much first pull. The hedgetrimmer angle adjustment is MUCH better than my unrepairable and so discarded Mitox, and engaging the drive shafts on the extension poles also easier than the Mitox. I like the fact it runs on 25:1 not 50:1, as I am convinced this will reduce the risk of premature bore wear.
Apart from the mistake noted, the instructions are good, if abysmally printed so that all pictures are useless.
