Does not work

I tried to get this to fit my mini 14. No luck But that's not even the half of it. Comes with no instructions. There are no install videos. Comes with one hex wrench. Install requires two. Comes with two plastic semi-circular bushings that do not fit the barrel It is apparently supposed to use the protruding ridge on the front of the gas block gas to stabilize the quad rails.. (AT least I think that was the intention. Once I got it on the barrel and the two internal bars up against the gas block there was all kinds of "play." It would rock back and forth with almost no effort.) I think my biggest benefit from buying this item is the lesson that I did not spend very much $$ to learn that it is not a useable or realistic solution for getting rails on a mini-14. The one good thing is that the shipping was fast.
