AN INVALUABLE RESOURCE FOR ACTORS AND READERS ALIKE
This is an excellent resource--as are ALL the books in the NO FEAR SHAKESPEARE series--in helping modern readers understand the content of Shakespeare's plays.
I am currently playing Marc Antony in a professional production of this play, and have found this book invaluable in explaining and illuminating cryptic lines and passages in the text. It is giving me a much deeper understanding of the play as a whole, as well as when examining specific lines and scenes. Highly recommended and worth every penny. I'm so glad a resource like this exists.

Underappreciated film, wonderful cast, inspiring story
Paul Newman at his charming best, Melanie Griffith at the height of her MILF-y, little-girl-voiced allure, Bruce Willis in an uncommonly UN-likeable role, and Jessica Tandy in a lovely performance in her last screen role. What could be better...

Beautiful book of Biblical maps and content
I bought this wonderful book for my Mom for her 80th Birthday. She studies her Bible every morning for an hour or more. While watching CNN in recent months, she has begun to make the connections between modern Israel, Palestine, Jordan, etc, and the Ancient Holy Land. I though this book might really enhance her Bible study in that respect (showing her where modern sites are, compared to Biblical sites) and it really has!!!
The book itself is beautifully done--very colorful, with full-size maps of Ancient Biblical lands. The clear plastic overlays for each of these maps cleverly show the modern countries, so the reader has a full view of how those modern sites sprung up from the Biblical ones!
My Mom was delighted with the book, and has said it has really enriched her Bible study.
There is a much longer, updated version of this book available, but for some reason, they toned down all the colors in that new edition, and made some of the information more difficult to read. So after researching both, I decided to get her the "simpler", more colorful, older version. My only complaint with it is a bit short (only about 40 pages), whereas the newer versions are HUNDREDS of pages long!!! I wish they had lengthened this version with more information, but kept the original colors and layouts.
This is a small detail, however, and I feel that this 40-page version is more compelling in some ways, and very worth the price! Who knows, I may get my Mom the updated version for Christmas!!!
