Soothing shower
So far I have used only one of the four aromatherapy packets and was very impressed with it. I had a sinus infection and used the "cold and flu buster" with eucalyptus and lemon, which seemed to help break up my stuffy sinuses. I haven't yet used the "stress buster," "headache buster," or "hangover buster" packets, but look forward to doing so at an appropriate time. I don't expect to need the hangover buster, but look forward to the juniper and rosemary aroma in my shower.

Compelling and Scary Fiction
On the recommendation of a friend I purchased this book because I like mysteries. Many times I can guess the endings of mysteries, but not with this one. The plot continues to twist and turn, and the author, Jo Nesbo, is a first-rate storyteller. But I also have to mention to sensitive readers that the language in this book is blue and the subject matter is scary, gory, and raw.

I bought the origami page-a-day calendar as a Christmas gift for a friend who is an art teacher at a grammar school. I felt it might give her some ideas for projects for the children.
