The right tool for the job
This set of terminal release tools might seem a bit over the top - I mean you can always find a screwdriver or a nail or something that will fit the slot and get the job done, right? Yes, but why spend ages finding something that does the job, probably badly and risk damaging the plug moulding or whatever when you can have this and be pretty sure it will do it quickly and do it right. This is the perfect example proving there really is nothing like having the right tool for the job.

Simple device, good fit.
This item looks well made, and most importantly it fits the jacking shoe on the car correctly. I can now lift my car with confidence!

Brilliant connectors
These connectors are so easy - I'm very glad to have found them. I had some car wiring to repair, and the broken wires were in an awkward location. Using these things helped enormously and gave a really secure connection. I found that if it's difficult to keep everything in place while you apply the heat, you can gently pinch the solder ring onto the stripped wire ends with pliers and this will hold things together while you get the heat gun in place etc.
