Beautiful, solid and spacious

I'm not a fan of stainless steel anything in a domestic kitchen; that stuff is popular, but to me it makes a home cook's kitchen look sterile and cold. When we recently reno'd our 1980's kitchen, we went with creamy white cabinetry and white appliances. Many years ago I had a Kohler cast iron sink and was always more than satisfied with it, so I got another one for this project. I love the look of the porcelain over cast iron and the way the sink takes on the temp. of the water. There is something solid and soothing about the finish and material. I know I'm out of the mainstream taste patterns of today, but I prefer this cast iron sink by Kohler over any other type of sink I could purchase. Is it corny to say it reminds me of my mother's old sink that never wore out?
