Fine Spray Head(Rose) perfect for Seedlings
The Stainless Steel Rose provides a perfect pattern of gentle streams for watering delicate newly sprouted seedlings.
There is an internal plastic screen at the base of the spout to keep larger debris from clogging the fine pores of the Spray Head, which I assume was laser cut?
The body of the Spray Head is Polyethylene (PE) plastic. I used to get similar Japanese watering cans where this was metal, but this plastic seems durable enough.
These cans eventually get brittle from UV light, so to make it last, store it out of direct sunlight when not actively using it.
I water seedlings with the Spray Head hole pointing upward, to simulate a drizzle, but I rotate it to point down for small potted plants, or to keep water off sensitive plants and get the water directly to the potting soil.
The handle is rounded and smooth to the hand.
This watering can is exactly what I expected to receive.
