Vintage Academy Boeing B-50D Superfortress Model Kit Model # 2112 NOS 1/72

Minicraft B-50D 1/72 scale

Upon opening the box I was struck by the fineness of detail and cleanliness of molding of all the parts. Inevitably some parts fall off the molding tree so I took advantage of that and test fitted some of the loose parts. All went into their respective places with a good snug fit. I have not yet actually built this model yet as I have several ahead of it. But I would heartily recommend it to anyone wanting to complete their Cold War U. S. Air Force display. It will be a worthy addition. I would NOT, however, recommend it for the rank beginner. It's a bit too complicated for that. It would even be a challenge for those with a modicum of experience. For the expert it would be a lot of fun. I have well over sixty years of experience in all forms of model building and am looking forward to putting this one together. Onward and upward, Steve Emery
