Barska Loaded Gear VX-500 Plate Carrier Molle Vest OD Green BI12290

Good quality, little on the big side
I am fairly happy with this unit. Seems to be of decent quality, slightly thinner cordura than my Voodoo Tac plate carrier, but I don't think it will be an issue. Was very easy to adjust and the internal cumberbund was a very cool feature that not many PC's have these days. Again, I'm overall happy with it, however my two grips would be one small one, which was the fact that they put the "loaded gear" emblem stitched into the MOLLE webbing, so you actually lose a spot on the panels for accessories (I had to mount my mag dump pouch one slot back from where i normally prefer it because of this), and my bigger gripe would be how big this thing runs. I am an athletic frame, about 5'10 and 170lbs, muscular and in good shape, NOT some skinny bean pole, and still had trouble getting this to fit as tight as i wanted it to. You can tell it was designed for larger people. Height wasn't a huge issue, pretty easy to get it up around my belly button like PC's are supposed to be mounted, but had trouble getting it as tight as I wanted in the mid section. The cumberbund does help with this, but i like my PC's TIGHT to avoid all the weight jumping up and down while you're running.
Overall, not going to sit here and call it a bad piece of equipment because its certainly not, but if you have a slender build, or weigh less than like 175-180lbs, i would not recommend it. Other than that, cant complain.

Good budget tire option
I have these on a 2008 Ducati monster 695. They were very affordable and offer decent handling confidence, however my only grip is that like with most budget tires, they usually end up being very hard or very soft. These are incredibly soft, enough to the point that I already wore through a rear tire in just over a year (a year and one month) or 3500mi of riding, and I’m a pretty reasonable rider. I don’t do burnouts or wheelies or dumb squid stuff, I ride like a normal human being.
It’s not a big deal to me personally because the tire is $80 and I can have it mounted for like $20, but for someone who wants a little more longevity, you might want to look somewhere else or spend a little more money.
With that being said, I would definitely run these again. They handle great, stop great, and are affordable for sure.
