Great product, but getting a bit expensive.
2 of 2 found this helpful I've had this unit since Xmas 2017, and it is still performing as it should. I use it mobile, putting it up and down on a caravan, and yes, it does take batteries, and yes, the light does go out, to save power. Not many 'toys' run without batteries! The information is excellent and the display looks great. Well constructed, pretty accurate, and good quality. It's just a shame that the price has gone up, so, so much. $149.95 in December 2017.

The grandkids love it.
I bought this as a gift for grandchildren. Their parents told me that they had an amazing range, and the kids were really pleased with them.

Not Happy
It is supposed to be a wireless device, but it is really, really hard to get it to work. I see that I'm not the only one that has problems, when I asked the question on line. Very disappointed. The enclosed instructions from Canon may well have been written in Russian, because even in English they were hard to understand. This is my fourth Canon Printer, but it may well be my last.
