Paging Dr. Stiles You Are Needed on Nintendo DS
1 of 1 found this helpful Trauma Center for the Nintendo DS is one of the most fascinating games on the system. If you own a DS you must buy this game. It is fun and innovative and puts you into a position that many people rarely get to be in. You will enjoy the involving plot and the many tools that you use to save patient's lives such as the laser and the Healing Gel. The special ability Healing Touch allows you to save a person from near death, letting you feel like you accomplished something when you remove 20 pieces of glass, heal the lacerations, and sew up a bleeding heart in 5 seconds. Some of the operations can get difficult, but what do you expect when you are trying to save a life. I can tell you from experience, you will enjoy this game.

An excellent collection of quality
There are some series that are great because they have the perfect balance between gameplay and story, but only one series that has the perfect balance of story, gameplay and shooting, Metal Gear Solid.
Metal Gear Solid has an arsenal of weapons that can be used in many different situations, an array of enemies that do various things. There are mind readers, expert marksmen, shamen, and madmen.
Without giving away too much of the story lets just say that you are Snake in most of them. Snake can be described as a true spy and a real tough guy, Snake is in charge of getting research on tanks that are usually hijacked by terrorists with the intent to destroy the world, this all leads to the uncovering of who truly runs everything and how they run it. Friends can seem like enemies, enemies can seem like friends. You have to learn to never trust what you see and hear and to think in different ways.
Gameplay involves mostly sneaking through various bases, an alarm sounds if you are found and the AI is better than most AIs. You can track mud or water for them to follow, they will actually inspect the box you are hiding under, and they actually notice their fallen allies. You need to walk quietly, use the map to avoid being seen and use the right weapons at the right times. Sometimes you'll need to make the decision to engage an enemy or not.
The games themselves are fun, but these three games have special features too, VR training is fun to go through, the monkey hunt is always somewhat fun too, but the best is the goals you set for yourself. You can try to complete the game in 3 hours with no kills on extreme without setting off the alarm and without saving, or you can try to pair a few of them together, no matter what goals you set you get a nice item for your next playthrough or a ranking for you to show off to your friends.
I cannot praise this game set enough, my only problem is the original disks for the original, would have been nice to get a new PS2 disc for the game rather than the 2 PSones, but the game is still better than most.
Final words, if you like to just shoot people with no real strategy this is not the game for you, if you can't figure out a mini map, don't even bother trying, go get another game you need these skills to play the single greatest PlayStation series ever.

The Other Story of FFVII
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core is an excellent complement to the FF7 storyline. Taking place a few years before the original Final Fantasy 7, you play as Zack Fair the protagonist Cloud pretended to be. The game is like a director's cut of a movie you already seen. Characters new and old grace your presence as you play the game giving you some nice look into some that just spoke a few lines. The battle system is balanced or as balanced as materia can be and easy to understand. The game is as long as the original with about 10 to 12 hours playing the storyline and another 200 missions, you will be kept busy for awhile. Anyone who likes Final Fantasy should play this game and if you are a fan of 7 you will not be disappointed.
