Up to 1000X better sight
The microscope does exactly what I bought it for (reading SMD component info. on circuit boards). The plastic stand makes the whole unit a little bit more stable and the camera gives me a reasonable image. You have to faff about a bit to get the image you're looking for as the focus, magnification and distance from the object are all inter-related but with a bit of patience you can usually get to the image you're after. It has to be said though that as you'd expect it's a far cry from my professional Leica system (but for a small fraction of the price).
I did have some problems with the measurement software under Win 7 but XP was fine.

Does what it says on the bottle
Reasonably priced Industrial grade superglue, medium viscosity and does exactly what you'd expect it to do (watch your fingers)

Inspection lamp
Upon receipt I found that the battery compartment connections were loose and fitting three batteries into holder/compartment was fiddly and somewhat insecure. I also found that although the inspection lamp illuminated the torch didn't.
I dismantled the unit and found that a connection from the switch board was short circuiting against an adjacent component. As the board was slightly misaligned I re-positioned the assembly correctly, tightened the battery connectors and re-assembled the torch - it now functions correctly and I'm very happy with it.
It seemed costly and inefficient to return the product as faulty so repairing it myself seemed the appropriate response - after all it's only a torch !
