Old is better
I have owned a Virutex slitter that is about 18 years old. The shop was in need of an additional unit for a new station. I ordered what I believed would be a duplicate of a proven work horse, not the case. The unit is now make with many plastic parts waiting to be broken. It is worth 1/4 of what I paid!! I am waiting for it to fall on the ground and shatter. This will never last a year.

Garbage product!
The thumb screws used to swing out the blade was lost one day after use rendering the blade very hard to swing out. Very poor quality!!! It is most likely not a real S&W product but a knockoff.
