Quite lovely and always well received
While the chain will not win any prizes, otherwise it's good enough. Just in time for Valentine's day. Can't go wrong with the price!
Really love the quality of this piece. It looks like it should last quite a while.

The wicked fast machine
While this laptop may have been manufactured some five years ago, it is wicked fast. With four gig of RAM it is speedy, with eight it is blistering. The 2.8 GHz Core Two Duo is just as good now as when installed. Looks great, and while a little hefty the WiFi is in the 400+ range using the Verizon Quantum gateway. The weight adds to the ruggedness of the frame, and with some driver help Windows 10 Pro 64 bit runs like greased lightening on it. I'm adding a nano USB drive at 128 GB for backups, and with the Bluetooth broadcast it is speedy.
Get it while you can - if it will run Vista, it will likely run Win 10 Pro 64 - but be sure to use SDI for the installation of rhe dogs and cats drivers. Gotta love Source Forge.
I'm lovin' it.

Big little screen
2 of 2 found this helpful The windows laptop is not the ultimate computing machine. It can do many things right, and enough other things well to make sure that it should be in the inventory of everyone that is connected these days, but considering the length of time it takes to do anything, - it is not lightweight. Enter the tablets. Droid is a godsend for those who want to stay connected without carrying around a laptop (or, god forbid, a full PC.) Then along comes the Kindle brand from Amazon. Small, lightweight, markedly restricted in what it does, it fits the niche and works good enough for 70 - 80 % of my computing needs. The 10" screen means I can use it without my reading glasses.
Yeah, for about $100 or so, get one. You'll learn to love it.
