Good scope for the price.
1 of 2 found this helpful This not a $1,000.00 rifle scope. For the price it provides good optics and is great for ranges to about 1000 yards. Can it work at longer ranges, yes, but it best use is for 1000 yards and less. The adjustments for the focus and distance are stiff but that is good and bad. The elevation and wind adjustments could be better. They can be a little off of the alignment line. Best to count the clicks when making changes. Overall it is a great scope for the price and would recommend it for those wanting to put together a budget or mid priced rifle.

Well worth the cost to get into a Les Paul clone guitar.
Great guitar. Like the feel and sound. The finish of the guitar is amazing. Very solid feeling guitar with a weight you would expect with mahogany. No dings anyplace that I have found. Shipping was great. Guitar was double boxed. Couple of very minor things. The retaining nut for the switch and jack were both loose and the switch is not of great quality, but it works fine. The nut needs a little work on the G B and E strings, but will probably change to a different nut. The nut was off center by about .010. Easy to tap over. The tuners are just OK. They work, but would like some 18-1 ratio locking tuners. The bridge could be a little wider to allow for greater intonation tuning, but haven't had any problems. I did some tweaking of the neck to reduce the bow (concave) to my personal taste. The frets in my untraind eye are all in line with no apparant bumps. The strings are kind of standard light touch with a .009 E string.

OK for the price and for target shooting out to 300 yards.
Clear is a relative term. At maximum magnification it is good out to 300 yards. I can easily see .308 bullet holes in plain black or white targets. Much better with the splatter targets. Beyond that the image starts getting a little fuzzy. At lower magnification around 25 or 30 it is much better. 100 yards is great at any magnification. At long ranges around 600 yards any mirage really impacts the clarity when looking at paper targets. Would probably be OK for red steel targets or for sighting animals. The magnification adjustment is smooth and easy to work. The diopter is stiff but is OK. The side focus/parallax is not that great. The focus and parallax adjustment is marginal past 300 yards. Just seems like there should be more adjustment. The lighted reticle is good. I haven't tried it on the range, but it is bright when using it in the dim light in my shop. I didn't order the extended sun shade, but in reality it should come with the scope. My range is covered and faces northeast so I don't have to worry about shadows. I bought this particular scope because I wanted a 2nd focal plane scope with a bench rest type reticle and I like the reticle but wish the side focus/parallax adjustment was better. The rating for me is between 3 and 4 stars and the scope is worth the money for what it provides, but it definitely is not a scope I would want to use for any competition shooting past 300 yards. If you try to use this for really long range target shooting then the rating would be a 2 or 3. No way that this is a 5 star scope. It is no better of worse for similarly priced scopes. You get what you pay for.
