Looks great but lacks quality!

I have always liked the look of a Michael Graves designed teapot. When my previous teapot was in need of replacement I decided that I would purchase this teapot. I use my teapot daily at minimum. The cover is difficult to remove to fill the teapot. When pouring the hot water into a mug the hot water leaks out of the spout joint as well as dribbling out of the spout sometimes dripping hot water onto a surface or my hand. I did not have to use a potholder with my previous teapot as the handle remained cool. Unfortunately with this teapot one must use a potholder. I am disappointed because I so looked forward to receiving the teapot and also I feel the price of $109.00 should warrant a better quality product.
