Great Crossbolts for the serious hunter!
Great crossbolts! Even better value!! Unbelievably sturdy bolts that can stand up to tremendous punishment!

More than your money’s worth!!!
3 of 3 found this helpful I did a significant amount of research prior to making my purchase of the Barnett Whitetail Hunter Pro STR. After making my purchase, I continued to research other crossbows to validate that not only was this the “best” for my intended style of hunting, but also the best value.
The bow was very easy to assemble, as promised! The scope was better than I expected, and was amazed a the clarity and light gathering capabilities as the sun had set and dusk set in. I started sighting the crossbow in at 20 yards. 3 shots later, I moved back to 30 yards. One shot later, I was moving back to 40 yards. The same thing happened at 40 and 50 yards. Within 30 minutes, I was shooting a grouping the size of a tennis ball at sixty yards.I would have shot the crossbow at seventy yards, however my backyard didn’t allow for that distance.
Not only was the crossbow highly accurate, it was extremely quiet also. Not that it would really make a difference, but no deer would be able to “jump the string” with the speed at which these bolts are moving!
I would highly recommend this bow for game up to and including Elk, and even Brown Bear! This is my third Barnett crossbow in the last 10 years. I dare say any new innovations in the design, and thus the performance of future crossbows will require another new purchase, in the next few years!
