Jewish Humor Unplugged

Actually this was a gift for my niece who is now a young adult but loved to watch this show when she was in her "Tweens & Teens". Once you got past the main character's (Fran Drescher) nasally voice the show was extremely funny and unpredictable (even more entertaining & hysterical if you're Jewish.) This sitcom is the Jewish version of I Love Lucy on a much more risque level.

Extremely Flimsy Packaging

Although the video content appears to be (for the most part) an authentic reproduction, the packaging is obviously a cheap knock off. The only thing that identifies the packaging with the TV show is a flimsy almost paper thin cardboard type cover that doesn't quite fit the the also flimsy box that holds the various individual DVD's also in flimsy generic type holders. Sturdiness for future storage is NOT the word that describes this cheap and poorly packaged set. In retrospect, making this regrettable purchase only lends credence to that old saying - "you get what you pay for". My advice - spend a few extra dollars and purchase the actual studio version of this product that is packaged in the authentic hard cardboard containers that are made for long term storage.

Very B-Rated - Very Campy Entertainment

Definitely B-Rated story line but excellent for mindless entertainment - had some slightly chilling moments but mostly quirky/campy humor!
