Excellent
I received this toughbook in like new condition. This one is described as a semi rugged but is plenty rugged for all but the worst conditions. It came with windows 7 which automatically updated to windows 10. I don't yet know if I like that.
I got this to use Photoshop CS 6. It was cheaper to buy this Toughbook (under $300) than to buy CS 6 for my MacBook (CS6 is $480-$900). The screen resolution (1920 X 1200) is fine for this job. It is not a lightweight laptop and wasn't intended to be. It was built to be tough. The used battery that came with my Toughbook doesn't last as long as it is rated, but does not appear to be too expensive on ebay. This has not been a problem for me.
So far I an very happy with the Toughbook. It is just what I expected it to be.

I liked this enough to order a second one.
Particularly for the price, I am impressed with the quality. The large mount that came with it is nice and solid, which is important to me as I mounted it on a rifle. I mounted it and zeroed at 75 yards. It held zero through the sixty rounds of test shots. The dot is bright enough to see in bright daylight if you have it zeroed but not for point and shoot. It is bright enough for point and shoot in low light. I’m in Georgia so with the spring pollen there is a visible beam that points right back to me. (Agian, that’s in low light) At night there is the same visible beam.
There is a second mount for attaching to a scope. I haven’t tried it but it looks a bit light and I would be curious as to how well it would hold zero. It comes with two switches. One is the end cap push button with a positive click on ,click off. The second is a corded remote with a touch switch. I like the remote as it doesn’t stay on when you release the switch.
I still have to wait to see on how durable it is, but I liked it well enough to order a second one.

Works, just not as expected
I’ve used several different sound feeders before . This one works , but just barely. I got it to use the Bluetooth feature.
I opened this one, but was unable to set it up as the blue display is essentially useless in the daylight. Once it was dark outside , I could see the display fine. This alone wouldn’t be a big deal as once it is set up and you know the buttons, you barely need to see it. Using the Bluetooth however is also a problem.
I had the volume on my iphone all the way up and still had to turn the radio in my truck nearly all the way up as well. With both volumes up so high it amplifies every little bit of static and all the drop outs. Plus I have to be very careful to turn both down before disconnecting. I haven’t tried it with the phone plugged in to the USB as that’s not why I got this one. I already have another type for that. I will try it though.
This was very inexpensive, so I figured I would give it a try. Once again, you get what you pay for.
