Plugs up too easily!
3 of 3 found this helpful It prints OK unless you leave it sit for a week or so and then it plugs up the nozzles badly. You have to disassemble it and syringe a special liquid through the head to get it working again and often have to put on the plastic head cleaning hose that comes off. Don't buy one! It just clogs and clogs. The Internet if full of people posting on how to fix it or get it working. HP probably is better deal where the head is in the cartridges and gets replaced each time.
If you can get it printing--it does do a nice job.

Good for copying documents
I do a lot of copying family history pictures and old documents and old newspapers. I can get a very readable copy of text just holding the camera above the item and snapping a picture-- no extra lights, no tripod etc. I can get a good copy of a picture too that way.
With a tripod, music stand and power cord I can copy a lot of stuff in a hurry and have it available for use on my computer quickly just using an SD card reader.
I dropped the camera twice, hard. First time no damage. Second time on concrete, the plastic battery door broke. It still works fine, just a little hard to stick new batteries in. I can buy a new battery door on ebay for 10.00 so could fix it too.
I rarely use the base; have lots of re-chargeable batteries available as it does use them up; rarely use the flash and like it for regular use too. For the price used of about 100 or less, it is a very good deal!

Very fast, convenient and easy to use with well thought out software.
1 of 1 found this helpful Works good for books and larger books up 11x17. I needed to do much larger sizes and so I put a stack of books under the stand and it would do the bigger ones OK too. I did a video of using it for old government record books. You can search for it on you tube scanning historic records with the CZUR
