Taste is subjective but I think they have a medicinal flavor. I'm not sure they're any more or less effective than other purported remedies of the same kind.

They Pack A Punch
I am not a big fan of subtle. These pack some fire. Love 'em. If there's anything better out there in cinnamon, I haven't found it - but I've sure tried.

Best I've Tried
I use this as an after-shave and I love it. I parked it on the shelf for a while and didn't pay attention to the few English words right on the front (the blue plastic comes off; the bottle is all gray) saying it's a pre-shave. My skin loves this stuff and just soaks it up. Doesn't remain slick as an oil-based pre-shave would, or a greasy lotion-based one. So, not sure I'd want to use it as a pre-shave. I've been through probably 30 different aftershaves and this one soars to the top. Will definitely be buying it again.
