I had a 24' Imac and I wanted to down size to a MacBook Pro so I could take it with me when needed. The size is perfect because I have an Ipad so I wanted something slightly larger then the Macbook Air, it is a little heavier then the 13 inch. The speakers are right on deck so you get direct sound, the other thing I like is the keyboard lights up. Over all I think it was money well spent for size, and the year of the unit. I'm happy.
