Good tool at a good price, but use carefully to preserve needles
Good tool at a good price. Do be aware that the mechanical up and down action of the tool, if not done carefully and gently, can lead to more easy breaking of needles.

Works well for some things, others will keep needing another kind of lighter
This lighter seems well-designed and built, lasts a good number of lights between charges, and charges easily. It works great for lighting candle wicks and very small pieces of kindling. Anything larger than the latter poses problems. We like to burn small pieces/shavings of aromatic wood, and this lighter doesn't light them well. It's also a bit of a pain when lighting the woodstove, so rather than cut (and waste) short lengths of wick to use to light kindling to light the fire, we've just reverted to using the old fuel lighters, unfortunately.
