Samsung 43" QN90B Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TV (2022)

great tv with excellent local dimming feature

very good tv, i chose this one specifically as it is very similar to an oled with it being a neo qled and thus having dimming zones but was a couple hundred less than an oled in the same size. the blacks are stunning on this tv and the ‘grey/black bars’ you get on a standard lcd tv dont appear on this one which makes the viewing experience so much better. as is sadly expected in tvs nowadays the sound quality isnt anything to write home about. so i do recommend that you use a soundbar or some other form of home audio system with this tv. another small gripe is with tizen os, the operating system on the tv, i am not the biggest fan and it seems to overcomplicate things, but this isnt the end of the world for me as i originally planned to use it with an apple tv 4k box, so i rarely use tizen os anyway. finally another small gripe is that the tv isnt perfectly vertical, i know this is a feature of these tvs and not a bug with my specific unit, but it isnt really noticeable when watching, and only observable when looking directly down the side of the tv, it is only a small upwards angle of a couple degrees so it it nothing major. overall this is an excellent tv with brilliant build quality and i would definitely recommend it, just make sure that you use it with a soundbar or home audio system if you want to have audio that lives up to the quality of the picture.
