Close ups are good, distance shots are a miss.
0 of 6 found this helpful For fairly close shots, the images are sharp and look good. You can focus on the eyes and some of the face is slightly blurred, which makes for a nice effect. But for long distance shots, I was disappointed at the images. They look fairly cheap and grainy. For a $2000 lens I expected more. Not sure if there's a better lens on the market but if there is, I regret this purchase.
