Stem ripped out within weeks.

Used on a child’s bike. Very chill use, only on pavement. With training wheels. Stem ripped out after only a couple weeks. Not very sturdy.

Works, hard to use the first few times

The size L out of the box is too small for my 29.5 Full Tilt boots. The directions say soak in warm water, and that did help, but it was a hassle getting them on there. They’ve gotten easier, and I’m sure I don’t want them loose and falling off, but it’s still pretty tough to apply them.

Ok shell for the price

The poplar shell looks solid, and has snare beds, though it’s not sanded well. The wrap looks cool. The hoops and lugs seem ok. On the other hand the strainer is very stiff and not easy to use and the snare wires are the lowest quality I’ve ever seen. Very poorly made and they rattle like crazy because they’re not flat or tensioned the same across the set. Makes it impossible to get a right snappy sound. I think with a new set of quality wires this might sound good, but I’ll have to buy some and find out.
