blows TurtleBeach Recon 50P out of the water. not even close....but...
5 of 5 found this helpful a word to console players...this is a great, loud, quality headset. way better than "the cheap" headset. only thing is when using with console, you will have to update (or downgrade in my case) headset firmware using a computer on the Hyperx website. the usb control dongle wont work right unless you do. you can just plug the set into the 3.5 and it will function but not loud, no volume control and no surround sound. the downgrade only took me about 10 minutes. look it up on Youtube. overall i am VERY satisfied and will purchase again when the time comes.
