3 of 3 found this helpful This derailleur extension allows for significantly bigger gears. Wolf tooth also makes 40 and 42 tooth cogs. You can replace your 15 or 17 tooth cog from your cassette and all the bigger gear on the top end. I used this part and a 40 tooth on my tandem to give us a lower gear combination for the big hills. Top quality and works perfectly.
