Great value for new part
This is indeed a brand new oil pan for a Series 1 (2004-2008) Mazda RX-8. It may fit a Series 2 (2009+), I didn't check. The oil pan includes the drain plug and the oil level sensor - these components are already installed. The part I received was very dusty inside and out (from storage?) so I washed it with soap and water before installing.
NOTE: this oil pan is missing a baffle plate that keeps oil in the pickup area (and sensor area) during cornering. Most street-driven cars probably won't need this baffle plate, but I wanted it for when driving on the track. It is possible to transfer a baffle plate from another oil pan. To do this, I drilled some holes, then installed three M6 nut inserts into the holes, then bolted the baffle plate in place just like the later versions.
