Extreme Sound Quality with distortion-free wired connectivity.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an amazing Bose Speaker System, once you accept the obvious limitations (no lightning connector or bluetooth). I am very familiar with this unit because I bought one just like it many years ago for a lot of $$$. So here we are in the world lightning connectors, USB C, and Bluetooth version 5.0 and this 30 pin interface is now a distant memory... unless you have an old iPod classic that you can attach to your Bose SoundDock, which I do have. I now own two of these things and enjoy using both. I use one for my desktop computer (via the mini-jack aux input) and one as a home audio system along with my old classic iPod. The battery system allows you to brink it along with you anywhere and the wireless remote adds a lot of convenience. With the price of these units being so depressed due to the flood of bluetooth speakers into the market you can buy a Bose SoundDock for as low as 15 cents on the dollar which is a great bargain given their incredible sound quality.
