2006 Mercedes E-Class CDI
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this car as a lease return, 2 years old, with 32k miles on it from a broker. This is a turbo diesel and while it accelerates very strong, and it very fast, it is getting incredible mileage on the highway. I commute 90 mls each day and I regularly get actual 32 to 34 mpg. The car is luxurious, is very solidly build and attractive inside and out. The suspension is probably a little stiffer than most American cars, but you feel you are always in control of the driving situation, no matter what speed and road conditions. I have had a number of Mercedes before, this one is definitely the most refined car I have owned so far. Now that diesel prices seem to get closer to those of gas in the US, in my opinion this is a no brainer over the gas model. I go over 600 mls on a single tank and the car cost me about as much as a fully loaded new Toyota Prius. Guess which I prefer to drive?!

Great security camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had indoor Nest cameras for a while and this is my first outdoor version, since using the indoor version through the window and a screen has too many challenges. The set up is easy and the installation straight forward.
For some odd reason it comes with two long wires that cannot be shortened and that are permanently attached at the camera and at the USB box and power plug. Depending on how far your outlet is from where you want to mount the camera, you have to drill a 3/4 in size hole to feed the USB outdoor plug through the wall, when the actual wire is small and skinny. you could also be left with a lot of spare cable that you will need to roll up and store out of sight - specifically if you use an outdoor outlet.
I think this could be solved better with more flexibility with the wires - thats why I gave it just 4 stars.
The other issue is the cost of subscribing to the cloud recording service. Every new camera comes with a few weeks of free cloud storage and you definitely would want that permanently, but with multiple cameras it is a costly service. I wish NEST/Google would offer a variety of subscription services at diff price levels that also offer lower priced offerings with shorter retention periods for residential homeowners. Google - do you read this?
