Expensive, but a game changer if you’re in the market for a 3-axis laser.
1 of 1 found this helpful Works super well, it does one thing, but it does it well. I really don’t know what else I can say, in low light situations, this green beam technology is WAY more noticeable than a red on when being used outdoors. I bought this to level ledger boards for decks and mounting kitchen cabinets as well as large shower tiles. If it weren’t $500 new after tax, I’d have bought one long ago, but I got one that’s basically new for half of the price new, PLUS it came with the case, something is haven’t seen a lot of used ones with cases included, so hold out for one that does have one. Try to stay under $300 with fees and taxes for a used one and make SURE it’s the 300G green one, not the red 300 model.

The Ferrari of Chevy Cavaliers
If you’re going to use this fairly often and need this level of accuracy, then it’s a great product. It’s a bit pricy, but it’s a good and well-known brand and looks to be of good quality. I like the amount of adapters and that it has a carrying case with a window, so you don’t have to label it for grabbing quickly. I like that it’s digital, that level of accuracy is paramount to “moving to the next level” in most hands-on jobs/tasks/hobbies. You can unequivocally know the precise compression measurement, rather than just looking at odd gradations on an analog dial. It’s a food processor versus a knife and cutting board. It’s a paint roller versus a sprayer, a horse and carriage versus a Mercedes R350. Do you NEED this? Not at all. Do you “NEED” this? Hell yeah ;)

Good price for sure; ok/reasonable quality, but hardly any grease fittings.
Reasonable quality for Chinese aftermarket parts. What can I say, they’re not MOOG or motorcraft, and for the price it’s hard to beat, but don’t expect more than one or two grease fittings, which is a big negative for me. The seller worked with me on an issue I had, and I’d totally recommend them, but if you’re looking for pets that will last more than only a couple years at best, I’d spend more money and get name-brand parts. You get what you pay for, but they are after all, big chunks of metal so there’s no real intricacy necessary anyway, just don’t expect SUPER-high quality from China. For what I need, this kit is fine, and if you can replace the parts yourself, it’s worth it if they only last 2-3 years, if more then great, but for the money, it’s still cheaper than getting oem or even having a small inde shop do it for you.
