Wild Stubborn Mountain Bull
4 of 4 found this helpful I got this for my bull terrier mix. He was out of control, didn't know his boundaries, and loved to wonder. It was getting annoying. This thing is a life saver. It keeps him close while I'm working in the garden. I rarely have to use the shock. The first time on a higher setting and he got the picture. I love the beep, it more than often brings him with his name called, or stops him in is tracks. If the beep doesn't work, the vibration will do it. I save the shock for red alert.
It came with small bolts, and larger one. The smaller ones weren't doing the job for him, but once he has the full hang of the collar, I'll try the smaller ones again. It really is a great collar for most size dogs. It came complete with an extra long adjustable strap. I'm pretty sure it'll fit even the largest of dogs.
Some things on the device are a little off. The LCD on the remote messed up the next day I had it. The top line of the middle number is missing. It also turns off after so long of not using. If I have it on him all day I have to keep checking once an hour to make sure it's working. I turn it off on the collar, and back on again, then beep it. Sometimes it takes a while for it to work. I press random buttons while he's not wearing it, and it eventually vibrates. The charge holds pretty well, if you were wondering.
