I did not notice any difference
I got this to try out. I did not try every possibility and considered trying it on an acoustic or mandolin. Tried it with a strat I didn't notice any difference.

Very good, louder than most, tone controls
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought these as I have a pair of insignia speakers that are great and loud for the size and price and very bassy which is a plus in small speakers. But I wanted a tone control or even better treble and Bass - many do not have this control.
The CREATIVES speakers are crisp and well balanced and if you pump them they can be loud. They are not worth $100 in my opinion but are worth in the 50 - 70 range.
Compact easy and clear - not bassy or trebly.
So now I use them with the bassy insignias for recording and music stuff.
Negatives: The wattage does not Blow away some cheaper speakers but they are well - built solid and have the Bass/treble
The treble knob is virtually useless there is no added treble. In other words,up or down not much of a difference. The BASS does have some decent response. All in all a good set of speakers for computerand mp3 players. I would not buy them for $100 though.
I gave a 3 since they are not super loud compared to lower wattage computer speakers and the treble knob has no response.
Dont get me wrong there is nice treble on the speaker it is just that to my ears the knob does not alter that treble sound.

Revolver a classic
I bought it as I never had the actual CD also wanted to see if it really is "remastered" as I am a musician - Frankly, have not yet heard it as much different from original but I did not take the full "taste test" But the CD has a little documentary (mostly from the Anthology series) and a nice booklet - DOES SOUND awesome debating whether to get the individual cds I want or wait to get box set - This (or Abbey Road) may be the greatest album of all time EVERY music listener should get it
