Voice delays - drop outs
Connected to Samsung Plasma TV PN43E450A1F - latest firmware. Optical out (Toslink). Input was HDMI. Used supplied toslink cable. At first I was happily surprised all connected easily and appeared to work well. But as you switch from one video stream to the next, there was a several second "dead air" delay in playing the video. You have to back up to the start of the video to get the first few seconds of sound. In time you experience complete drop outs, no sound at all even if you start from beginning of video. You have to exit the video stream and restart the video (sometimes a couple of tries).
The Samsung TV has the ability to play both internal Speakers and external (Optical out). There was a very noticeable delay of sound coming from the WiiStar right after the sound coming from the speakers, causing an echo effect. Very annoying. If you Google the issue,
it appears to be a product defect - the device does not keep up with the signal being sent to it.

Get out your older Xeon 771 CPUs and put them to work
When I look at CPU's I rarely determine their value by GigaHertz or MegaHertz. Nor do I limit myself to how many cores they have, as most have physical + additional "logical" cores. What I look for are average benchmarks (like CPU Passmark score - google it).
If you've worked on any servers in the past 5 to 8 years you have run across Xeon 5400 series CPUs. You ended up with a few lying around. When are you really going to put them into a server again? You've been tempted to just toss them. Don't. They are 771 socket CPUs but... many motherboard BIOSes put them in the same microcode batch as Core2 Quad series 775 CPUs. Not all the time, but in the case of the Intel DG41TY - yes.
So how does one put a square peg in a round hole - 771 CPU into a 775 socket? By using a 771 mod sticker (google that - all you need is a box cutter knife and 15 minutes). I've done a few of these and the CPU and DG41TY combo is great. With the Xeon L5420 I end up with a 3947 passmark score. That's like a 3rd generation Intel Core i3-3210 or an AMD A8-5500 APU.
