ON THE LAKE IN A BOAT
A post card from more than 100 years ago, depicting life in the good old days on a lake in a boat. That calm life, long gone, but not the post card, which someone in 1900 had the thought to send to a friend, thoughts long before the phone was thought of.

I read about my American history and met many of my ansestors via NEW YORK.
You sit in your house and the world opens up on ebay. For whatever reason, people are finding things and placing them before you, that you would otherwise not find. This is like the power of having the metal detector on the beach. Enter your name for example and see what comes up. I love history and photographs, always did. I found a copy of NEW YORK on ebay and was snared by the description. But you know what? The book was worth ten descriptions.
