Well made tool - A must have for a chefs kitchen!

Tiny serrations on blades cut all materials and foods without slipping. Feel light in hands and are not bulky but are sturdy. These get lots of use in our home for opening plastic packaging, bubble wrap and cutting chicken and ribs into pieces. Very handy. Our last pair of Henkels lasted over 20 years of hard use and finally got dull. They cannot be sharpened because of the micro serrated blades but I expect to get lots of good safe use before they wear out. Take apart feature is a plus if you cut a lot of meat or sticky dough.

Great all around camera

PROS: Good zoom range, good color rendition, good controls and flash shoe. Nothing improves indoor photography more than a nice external flash and this camera is ready to connect. Battery life is good and videos have suprisingly good audio and usable video. Popup flash has much less redeye than other small cameras. Laser hologram focus delivers sharp pictures even when shooting in darkness like camping. Higher resolution cameras may trade pixels for increased noise so this camera may still be a good choice for intermediate photographers. Batteries work well after 4 or more years of use. Good and large optical viewfinder is great for outdoor photography. CONS: Camera is too big for pants pocket. Infolithium batteries require a charger to be brought along on long trips vs. standard cells.
