Keeps in the steam; keeps out the gunk!
Having tried a lot of face masks over the last 18 months, these are the first ones that I can wear with glasses and not have them steam up, and yet they are easy to breathe through. That is really helpful! Also, I used some Spraymount with one on and I could hardly smell it (until I took off the mask), so it does keep out tiny droplets.
It's important to bend the nose part to fit your face, and they are a bit obvious (big and white), but they seem to do the job very well.

Works well
Very accurate. I used the I2C interface with an Arduino. It wants 3.3V, so I built a level converter (some BMP280 boards have one built in) - see instructables web site.
For the BMP280, there's a good tutorial at the ardumotive web site. Remember that the pressure it returns is the actual pressure where you are - I adjusted the reading for the elevation where I live:
// The weather maps give pressure corrected to sea level. Therefore we do the same so that the reading matches the weather maps.
// We compensate for sea level by increasing the reading by 0.1325 millibars per metre above sea level

1 of 1 found this helpful When you drill, the Dremel moves inside its carrier so that the hole ends up 1-2mm towards you compared to where you lined it up. The end of the Dremel that sits in the carrier is made of soft plastic to make it easier to hold, but this means that it is not held firmly. You can improve things by turning the Dremel to face sideways (there's a second slot for the locking button), but it's still not very good. It's quite well made, apart from this design flaw. One tip: it arrives in parts - remove the black end caps from the tube to assemble.
