works ok with my phone, not super duper loud but OK
I plugged them into my phone and put the item over my ears, I heard music at a reasonable volume, prolly not the max that this item can handle but it was loud enough without distortion, bear in mind that I am now 40 years old and don't need the volume set to the maximum.
